About Us

Sophie's Legacy is a family-managed initiative. We've created a special application to power our Website, and we handle all the content management ourselves.

User Accounts

1. User Types: We have three types of users: Admins, Users, and Supporters.
2. Sensitive Information (Admins and Users): During registration, Admins and Users are kindly asked to provide their email and username. Users can also create an organization by providing an organization name.
3. Supporters - we may ask for additional information that is sensitive to help support our campaigns. This will only be visible to us (Admin's of Sophie's Legacy)
4. We may provide your email address to a third party Email Provider for our marketing campaigns, otherwise (currently) we do not explicitly provide sensitive information to any 3rd parties.

Intellectual Property

1. Content Ownership: We take pride in the content on our Website, including text, images, videos, and trademarks. Unless otherwise stated, all of this content belongs to Sophie's Legacy.
2. Usage Rights: You are welcome to use campaign posters, messages, and images from our Website for respectful and kind purposes. We ask that you adhere to the terms of this Agreement when using our content.

By providing your email address through any form on our website, you consent to receive email communications from us.

1. We may communicate updates, campaign information, promotional offers, newsletters and other information related to our service.
2. Unless otherwise stated we will not pass on your information to a third party.

Payment Terms

Good news! There are no payment terms associated with using our Website. All the services provided by Sophie's Legacy are completely free of charge.

PAYMENT/DONATION PROCESSING

We work with Square as our payment platform to process all financial transactions If you make a payment for a donation, Sophie's Legacy reserves the right to keep a record of your transaction amount only; none of your personal payment information is stored or saved within our systems. Instead, we rely on the payment processing platform to store, on our behalf, certain information about you. For more information about which information we store, see our Privacy Policy.

• Sophie's Legacy uses Square for payment processing services. By using Square payment processing services, you agree to be legally bound by Square’s Services Agreement and Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Liability

We do our best to provide accurate and up-to-date information on our Website. However, we cannot guarantee that the content is always perfect. Sophie's Legacy and our team shall not be held responsible for any damages or losses that may occur while using our Website.

Termination

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Australia. In the event of any disputes, we kindly request that we work together in a friendly manner to resolve them. Any legal actions should be directed to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Australian courts.
